Just about everyone loves Real Estate and the content is as easily consumable as tabloid fodder in the grocery store line up. But could there be a downside?
Facebook has quickly turned into a hugely successful media conglomerate that is an effective way to get messages to a targeted market and Instagram has morphed into a catalog that has the capacity to make all things pretty and highly addictive. They are both very effective platforms for Realtors to showcase a product. The question is what is the product? Is it the Realtor or is it the property? I'd imagine that every single seller would argue boldly that it is the PRODUCT. Sellers want their properties sold. It's just that simple.
"The question is what is the product? Is it the Realtor or is it the property?"
Since you are reading this, you probably know that I am a supporter of social media campaigns for Real Estate sales and marketing. What you may have noticed is as my content evolves, so does the continued absence of garish self-promotion via flashy SOLD posts...(and "selfies"....even the word is nauseating). Why? Because selling a property can be so frustrating for a seller that an obnoxious "look at what I just sold" post may be about as palatable as a fingernail removal via pliers.
....just another sardonic musing from my distracted mind to yours.
If you want an ongoing update about real-time sales send me a note and I will set it up. Until then keep watching the updates for weekly and monthly overviews about what we have seen sell in Bragg Creek and the Greater Bragg Creek Areas.
